How long does the whole process take?
We will select and place your porcelain veneers over two to three appointments. At the first visit, you will meet with Dr. Backiewicz or Dr. Thompson to discuss your goals and select the right veneers for your overall appearance. In preparation for placement, your dentist will remove a tiny layer of enamel from each tooth. The dentist will then take impressions of your teeth and bite to send to the ceramist who will produce your restorations. With some cases, we place temporary veneers. You will return for final placement once we receive your permanent veneers in our New Albany office.
Do porcelain veneers require special care?
Treat your veneers like you do your natural teeth by brushing frequently and flossing daily. Schedule regular checkups in our office every six months. With the right care, you will continue to enjoy a sparkling smile.
